Founded in 2015 by former NHS audiologist Dr David Greenberg to address occupational hearing loss challenges. Having worked as an NHS Clinical Audiologist and Researcher, David knew the enormity of the problem and has provided a sound solution. The company’s patented technology uniquely combines real-time monitoring and reporting of noise exposure, personalised hearing protection and wireless communication into a single active ear defender product.
The headset features revolutionary ‘Hear-Through’ technology which allows wearers to be more aware of their surroundings whilst also preventing deafness, the most reported occupational disease in the EU. Hearing loss is now the greatest modifiable risk factor against developing dementia.
EAVE’s flagship initiative, Eavolution, is a smart monitoring system designed to protect workers from noise, dust, and vibration exposure. Integrated with Samsung Galaxy smartwatches, the system provides real-time insights to help construction sites operate smarter, cleaner, and faster. Developed in partnership with Samsung and Morgan Sindall Group, Eavolution is guided by the vision of founder and healthcare expert Dr. David Greenberg. The project is already delivering measurable impact, benefiting both subcontractors and wider stakeholders across the industry.
