Oscar Jansen

Oscar is pursuing a degree in Accounting & Finance at the University of Bath and has joined Pembroke’s portfolio team as part of his industrial placement experience. Before his university studies, Oscar dedicated his time to Mathematics, Business, and Psychology A-levels while participating in a personalised rugby program in partnership with London Irish. Throughout his education, Oscar has developed a fascination with the mechanisms of financial markets and the diverse methods businesses employ to raise capital for growth.

Outside of work, Oscar prioritises his health and fitness. He has actively participated in numerous sports teams, with key achievements including being joint winners of the Under-18s Premiership Rugby and securing the ACE rugby championship in 2020. Furthermore, he demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit during the COVID-19 pandemic by establishing a business selling homemade concrete weights while gyms were temporarily closed.
